Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring each guest has a memorable dining experience. Experience with food and beverage service, along with strong communication skills, is essential. Knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS is preferred, along with a background in hospitality settings. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the food industry while providing outstanding guest relations.

Duties

Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems like Toast POS Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest needs promptly and professionally Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are maintained at all times Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Manage guest relations to foster a welcoming atmosphere, including handling special requests and resolving issues efficiently Support host/host duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations through OpenTable Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and restaurant policies

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Toast POS, and OpenTable is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling practices Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail Previous roles such as host/host or bartender can be beneficial but are not required Basic math skills for cashiering and billing transactions are necessary
