Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on fine dining and hospitality. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing food and beverage orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction from seating to check presentation. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with various POS systems are highly valued. The Server will play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, providing a welcoming atmosphere Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards Ensure timely delivery of orders and check in regularly with guests to meet their needs Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems and process payments efficiently Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, fostering guest loyalty

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, fine dining, or hospitality is preferred, including serving or host/host roles Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if needed Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities is a plus
