John G's is a landmark breakfast and lunch restaurant located in Manalapan just across the EAU resort&spa . We are hiring for an extended experienced server . Experience in fast pace high volume restaurant is required , preferably breakfast experience . Good attitude/energy , excellent service , reliability , team work are some of the qualities required for the position .

```Duties```
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a prompt and professional manner
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Process payments and handle cash transactions using Aloha POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, including clearing tables and resetting for next guests
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned

```Skills```
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple tables simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build positive guest relations
- Basic culinary knowledge to answer questions about menu items
- Upselling skills to promote additional food and beverage options
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale software is a plus
