Job Summary

We are seeking a personable and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, food and beverage knowledge, and a friendly demeanor. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations. Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or fine dining environments is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, handling transactions accurately, and maintaining sanitation standards.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, attentive service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring presentation quality Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards Assist with food preparation or bussing tables as needed during service Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, including specials and wine pairings Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally Follow all food safety protocols related to handling food and beverages

Skills

Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Excellent communication skills and ability to engage guests effectively Ability to manage time efficiently during busy service periods Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures Previous experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant environments preferred Skills in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and revenue Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Experience in food handling, food preparation, or kitchen operations is a plus Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced setting
