GENERAL SUMMARY:

To serve food & beverage in a friendly, courteous and timely manner. Servers are to guide all guests on their best possible experience. Demonstrating a full knowledge of your restaurant and a genuine passion for service.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Contributes to building and maintaining a positive work culture at all times

Flexible schedule, especially during busy seasons

Ability to communicate effectively

Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Ability to handle guest requests and needs in a professional and pleasant manner

Ability to learn phones and POS system

Ability to clearly communicate with both FOH and BOH

A dependable means of transportation to and from work for all days scheduled

DESIRED SKILLS:

Restaurant experience

Confident, friendly and outgoing

Highly organized

Ability to anticipate waitstaff and guest needs

Eagerness to learn and grow at all times

Food safety/sanitation knowledge

Spirits, wine, and beer knowledge

Blue card certification

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Creates and fosters a positive environment at all times

Ensure all safety and sanitation standards are strictly adhered to at all times

Knowledge of reservation, phone and POS system(s)

Adhere to the expectations of the secret shopper criteria

Take food and drink orders promptly

A full knowledge of all menu items both food and drink.

Able to take any Guest on a tour of what we are and what we have to offer

Assist in maintaining and clearing tables during dining experience

Assist in host, bus, and runner tasks, it is all of our jobs to get the job done

Constant communication with the team and MOD

Understands when to ask for help, within the team

Handling and communicating guest special needs or requests

Knowledge of guest dietary restrictions and preferences

Knowledge of hours of operation, entertainment schedules, restaurant address /phone number

Adheres to all safe cash handling procedures/payments

Performs all other duties as assigned by management team

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Standing/moving for up to 10+ hours
