We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fine dining or casual restaurant setting. Prior experience with POS systems and food handling is preferred, along with a strong focus on hospitality and guest service excellence.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments through POS systems
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed during food handling and service
Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables for new guests
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Maintain a clean, organized work environment adhering to sanitation guidelines
Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
Requirements
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Experience with food preparation, food handling, or kitchen operations is advantageous
Must be able to work flexible hours including nights; previous host/host or bussing experience is beneficial
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role

Pay: $21.06 - $25.36 per hour
