Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using cash handling procedures Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, handle inquiries, and resolve any concerns promptly Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts

Requirements

Proven experience in food service, restaurant environments, or hospitality roles; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order calculations Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the restaurant schedule
