Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables for new guests Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently Maintain cleanliness of service areas including dining tables, stations, and service utensils Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures Basic math skills for billing and cash handling Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Hospitality background including host/host or nightclub serving experience is advantageous Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance
