We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, excellent customer relations skills, and familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha and Micros. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment, providing high-quality service in both fine dining and casual settings. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction from start to finish.
Duties
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha and Micros
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems such as OpenTable
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, including wine pairings or specials in fine dining settings
Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
Follow all sanitation, food handling, and safety protocols consistently
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; experience in fine dining or nightclubs is a plus
Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and restaurant revenue
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
Previous experience in serving, bussing tables, host/host roles, or hospitality is advantageous
Must be able to work flexible hours including nights; weekend availability is preferred
