What you'll do

Greet and seat guests with enthusiasm, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Clover POS Provide detailed menu descriptions and recommend pairings to enhance the dining experience through effective upselling techniques. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to uphold our fine dining standards. Process payments accurately, handling cash transactions with precision while providing excellent guest relations. Stay informed about menu changes, specials, and culinary trends to engage guests effectively.

Basic qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is essential. Take accurate food and beverage orders. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques enhances your ability to connect with guests. Familiarity with fine dining etiquette and customer service excellence is highly valued. Excellent communication and multitasking skills. Professional appearance and attitude. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
