SUMMARY

Bites and Brews located within 814 Lanes and Games' Server Lead is responsible for assisting the guests' needs, responding to their inquiries, and immediately addressing their dining concerns. The server lead ensures the timely and accurate serving of orders, offering promotional menus and other additional services. They will train new team members. They must have excellent communication skills to interact with the guests, as well as time-management and multitasking skills to perform duties in the fast-paced environment. They assist in developing strategic procedures and food menu recommendations by researching on the latest food trends in the industry to generate revenues and attract more customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Train and mentor new team members as well as FOH staff, including servers and hosts maintaining high service standards, product knowledge, and professionalism. Provide leadership to the rest of the servers guaranteeing great quality, customer service and cleanliness according to the public health code. Take orders from guests, input orders into the POS, and obtain payment and provide change. Train newly hired employees for correct restaurant procedures, safety codes, proper use of POS systems, and menu items. Provide exceptional guest services by communicating additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Engage in high quality customer facing and focus service; cater to guests with sensitive food allergies and custom dietary needs. Perform day to day supervision of staff, assign tasks and direct overall restaurant level operation performances. Assist in organizing competitive bartending events. Perform POS and other financial responsibilities accurately and promptly. Develop training materials and script for upselling signature toppings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Guest focused Able to work in a fast paced environment. Outstanding work ethic. Ability to work in a team environment. Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience. Knowledge of POS Systems Ability to train.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior leadership experience preferred.
