Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and well taken care of. Your ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success in this role.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and drink orders using the OpenTable system or similar platforms. Deliver food and beverages to tables efficiently while ensuring proper presentation. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Sanitate work areas, utensils, and equipment according to health standards. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns regarding food quality or preparation. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items based on guest preferences. Maintain an organized workspace in the kitchen area while adhering to food handling safety practices.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory. Strong understanding of sanitation practices and food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash register operations. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn about menu items is a plus.

Pay: $14.81 - $45.00 per hour
