Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Experience in food service, hospitality, or fine dining environments is preferred. Duties

Greet guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive first impression Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cash and process payments accurately through POS or cashiering systems Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining areas, and service stations Assist with bussing tables and resetting for new guests as needed Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery Address guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction Follow food safety protocols and sanitation procedures consistently

Skills

Proven experience with POS systems such as Toast is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent time management Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards in the food industry Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is a plus Effective communication skills and the ability to upsell menu items tactfully Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Previous experience in food service roles such as host/host, bussing, or serving in nightclubs or restaurants is advantageous Familiarity with food preparation processes and kitchen operations is beneficial

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
