Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance the guest experience. Upsell menu items and promote specials to maximize sales opportunities. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely order fulfillment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines during food handling and preparation. Process payments accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations.

Experience

Previous experience as a Server in fine dining or high-volume restaurants is preferred. Familiarity with restaurant management systems such as OpenTable and Toast is a plus. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests. Experience in guest relations, ensuring all guests feel valued and satisfied during their visit. Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations is essential.
