Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience while efficiently managing their orders and requests.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and assist guests with selections. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly. Process payments accurately, including cash handling and basic math for transactions. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Assist with bussing tables and resetting for new guests as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightlife environments. Familiarity with OpenTable reservations system is advantageous. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
