We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food and beverage service meets high standards of quality and hospitality. This role involves engaging with guests, taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in both fine dining and casual settings. Experience with POS systems and food safety protocols is essential to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
Assist with setting up tables, bussing, and resetting tables for new guests
Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area in compliance with sanitation standards
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Manage cash handling accurately during transactions
Support other restaurant operations such as host/host duties or light kitchen tasks as needed
Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, especially in a fast pace setting.
Familiarity with POS systems including Focus, Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
Experience with food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Knowledge of food industry standards related to serving, upselling, and guest relations
Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
Prior experience in hospitality roles such as host/host or bussing is advantageous
