We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and experienced Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, food industry knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently. Experience with POS systems and a passion for hospitality are highly valued. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining excellent guest relations in a casual setting.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS or cashiering systems
Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness of service areas
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special dietary needs or requests
Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally
Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, specials, and wine pairings to assist guests effectively
Follow all sanitation, food handling, and safety procedures in accordance with health regulations
Qualifications
Prior restaurant or food service experience preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Previous experience in hospitality or guest services roles such as host/host or bartender is advantageous
A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a passion for delivering memorable dining experiences
