We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a excellent guest relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing attentive service, managing orders accurately, and ensuring guest satisfaction from seating to bill payment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. We are looking for someone who is available to work parttime, Wednesday evenings 3-9 an on the weekends, which would include Friday & Saturday evening and Sunday all day.
Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change using cashiering skills
Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations through bussing and sanitation practices
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
Address guest inquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including setting up or cleaning dining areas
Skills
Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Experience in fine dining or hospitality environments is preferred, including nightclub or food industry settings
Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and restaurant revenue
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes
Previous experience in serving, bussing, hosting/host roles, or food preparation is advantageous
Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as required by the restaurant schedule
