Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment, with experience in fine dining or hospitality settings. This role offers an opportunity to showcase excellent customer service skills, culinary knowledge, and sales ability while working in a vibrant restaurant atmosphere. Prior experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety and sanitation standards.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables for new guests Manage cash handling accurately and process payments via POS systems including Cashier functions Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience Maintain knowledge of menu items, wine pairings, and restaurant policies to assist guests effectively

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently and contribute to sales goals Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Basic math skills for billing accuracy and cash handling responsibilities Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not required Must be able to work flexible hours including nights; weekend availability is preferred

Pay: $2.13 per hour
