Duties

Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise entry Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and food safety protocols Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while respecting guest preferences Manage cash handling, cashiering, and open/close procedures with integrity and accuracy Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning service stations, and adhering to food safety regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall guest satisfaction Utilize reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements efficiently Assist with food preparation or basic kitchen tasks when needed, demonstrating versatility in food service operations Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a memorable visit

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and transaction accuracy Experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostess duties, or hospitality roles is highly desirable Must be adaptable to fast-paced environments with a lively atmosphere that may include nightlife settings
