Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, providing a friendly and professional first impression Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar staff Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items by recommending popular dishes, beverages, or specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and provide personalized service tailored to their preferences Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, process payments efficiently, and give correct change Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and adhering to sanitation standards Assist with food handling and preparation as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Promote a positive atmosphere by engaging with guests in a friendly manner and fostering guest relations Support team members during shifts by performing host/host duties or bussing when necessary Follow food safety regulations and sanitation procedures diligently to ensure a safe dining environment

Experience

We welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds in food service or hospitality who possess a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. Prior experience in fine dining settings or nightclubs is highly valued. Candidates should demonstrate strong time management skills to handle fast-paced environments efficiently. Familiarity with Toast POS system is preferred; however, training will be provided. Experience in upselling techniques, guest relations, cash handling, and food safety protocols will set you up for success. Basic math skills are essential for accurate billing and transactions. Previous roles such as server, host/host, busser, or bartender provide a solid foundation for this position. A culinary background or kitchen experience can be an added advantage in understanding menu offerings and food preparation processes. Pay: $21.37 - $25.74 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
