Serves and suggestively sells drinks, entrees, and desserts in an outgoing friendly ,and timely manner to welcome the guest, take care of the guest, ad say farwell to the guest ensuring a positive guest experience that is exceptional by following the steps of service. Responsible for accurate cash handling. Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
Secondary Responsibilities:
To perform duties including but not limited to, answering the phone, bussing tables, washing dishes, cleaning workstations, rolling silverware, expediting orders, or running food. In short, whatever it takes to support our team.
SPECIFIC FUNCTION AND DUITES
Interacts verbally with all guest, creating a friendlt and upbeat atmosphere. Greetings guest, explains signature items, ours the guest through the menu using concise and articulate language, listens and responds to questions. Suggestively sells and upgrades drinks (specialty and premium brands), appetizers, entrees, and dessert menu items by providing specific and descriptive mouthwatering adjectives when describing each item. Observes guests, pratices the two-bite/two-minute check back to enusre guest satisaction. Presents the guest check to each table and accepts a form of payments. makes correct changes and/or completes the proper charge card procedure in a timely manner.
Understands and accurately uses theP.0.S. (point of sale) system to clock in/out, to process linput orders, and complete end-of-shift procedures,
Practices teamwork by assisting other Team Members by running food, greeting other tables, pre-bussing refilling beverages, and aiding other table sand team members when necessary. Conduct set-up and closing procedures. Cleans areas as you go. Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Performs proper procedures for responsible alcohol service, knows the legal drinking age, and the proper procedures for requesting identification. Always ask anyone who orders alcohol for their identification card. We ID everyone. Monitors Guests who are drinking alcohol using the traffic light (red, yellow, green) system. Keeps the MOD informed of anyone who may be intoxicated or reaching the point of intoxication.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
Previous server or restaurant experience preferred.
Understanding of federal, state, and local liquor laws.
Reading, writing, basic math, and superior communication skills required.
Pride in personal appearance.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.

PHYSICAL STANDARDS:
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of the scheduled shift. Must be able to move up and down stairs. Must be able to lift pots and pans, trays, bus pans, cases of beer, boxes, and materials weighing 40 pounds or more.
