Job Title: Server

Job Summary:

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our restaurant team as Servers/Waitstaff. The Server will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage reservations, including recording bookings, confirming reservations, and assigning tables. Greet guests as they are seated, providing a warm welcome and introducing yourself. Present menus, describe menu items, and make recommendations to guests based on their preferences and dietary restrictions. Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system promptly. Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of food and drinks. Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner, following established serving standards. Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals, address any concerns, and offer dessert or additional beverages. Monitor tables for additional needs, such as refilling drinks, clearing plates, or providing extra napkins or utensils. Process payments, issue receipts, and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately. Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations, including assisting with bussing tables, running food, and restocking supplies. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including wiping down tables, chairs, and condiment stations and sweeping underneath them. All servers have the opportunity to train behind the bar as well.
Requirements:

Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Wage: $12 hourly plus tips

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
