We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. Experience with food and beverage service, along with strong communication skills, is essential. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, as well as experience in fine dining or food industry settings, will be highly valued. Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met in accordance with health regulations
Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables for new guests
Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery
Maintain a clean work environment in compliance with sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
Experience with food preparation, bussing, hosting/host duties, or kitchen experience is a plus
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
