Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
Present menus confidently, highlighting specials and upselling additional items to enhance the guest experience
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
Manage guest inquiries promptly, resolve issues professionally, and ensure complete satisfaction with every visit
Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems and process payments efficiently
Support host/host duties when needed by managing reservations via OpenTable or similar platforms and coordinating seating arrangements
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy nights or special events such as nightclub evenings
Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergy information to advise guests appropriately
Uphold food safety regulations and sanitation practices consistently throughout your shift
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and cash handling
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to build guest rapport quickly
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Ability to upsell menu items confidently while respecting guest preferences
Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling procedures
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
Experience in serving or host/host roles demonstrating guest relations expertise
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
