Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems. Provide detailed menu information and recommendations to enhance the dining experience. Upsell menu items to maximize sales while maintaining guest satisfaction. Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Manage multiple tables efficiently, ensuring timely service and attention to guest needs. Process payments accurately through cash handling and cashiering duties. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and presentation. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is required, particularly in casual dining or fine dining Familiarity with Toast POS systems is advantageous. Culinary experience or knowledge of food handling practices is highly desirable. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling are essential.
