Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating arrangements to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing honest recommendations based on guest preferences Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and operate cashiering systems with precision Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed Foster positive guest relations through friendly interactions, attentive service, and prompt resolution of any concerns or issues

Requirements

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and sales tracking Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a guest-first approach Previous host or serving experience preferred but not required; hospitality background highly valued Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food industry standards including food preparation, serving techniques, and guest services Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.76 - $26.20 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
