Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, excellent customer relations skills, and experience with various POS systems. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment, providing high-quality service in both casual and fine dining settings.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are followed during food handling and serving Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables promptly to maintain a clean dining area Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Provide guest relations support by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a memorable experience

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred, including fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods Proven sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Experience in serving, bussing, host/host roles, or guest services is advantageous Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed
