We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing personalized service in a casual restaurant setting , ensuring guest satisfaction from order to check presentation. Prior experience with POS systems and food handling procedures is essential to maintain high standards of sanitation and efficiency. We are a breakfast, brunch and lunch establishment and this position is for daytime hours only and weekends are a must.
Duties
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
Ensure proper food safety and sanitation protocols are followed during food preparation and serving
Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and maintaining a clean dining environment
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly
Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Support host/host duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations
Qualifications
Previous restaurant or food service experience, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation standards diligently
Excellent time management skills to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
Experience with upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
Knowledge of food industry standards including food handling, preparation, and safety protocols
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required
Previous experience in serving, bussing, or host/host roles is advantageous
