Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate orders using TOAST POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations Clear tables promptly, bus tables, and reset stations to maintain a clean dining environment Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, handle inquiries, and resolve any concerns promptly

Requirements

Previous restaurant or food service experience, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred Proficiency with POS systems such as TOAST, Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and cashiering Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality excellence Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Basic math skills for cash handling and bill splitting accurately Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance; prior host/hostess or bussing experience is a plus
