Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role is essential in supporting our servers and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and guest satisfaction. Prior restaurant or banquet experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Assist servers in delivering prompt and courteous service to guests Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring a clean dining environment Support food preparation and presentation as needed, including handling food safely Manage bussing duties, including removing used dishes and maintaining cleanliness of dining areas Assist with food running and delivering orders from the kitchen to guests Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to assist guests effectively Uphold food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times Support banquet setups and breakdowns as required for events or large parties Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and guest satisfaction

Skills

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or banquet settings is advantageous Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and proper sanitation practices Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Experience with food preparation, bussing, or kitchen operations is a plus Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor Hospitality background including hotel or culinary experience is beneficial Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring guest satisfaction Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures related to food handling and service

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $25.00 per hour
