Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and answer questions about menu items, specials, and wine pairings Accurately take food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and accommodated Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through suggestive selling techniques like OpenTable reservations or special promotions Manage guest interactions with professionalism, addressing concerns promptly to ensure complete satisfaction Assist with food handling, bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Maintain knowledge of restaurant operations, including sanitation protocols, food preparation standards, and POS procedures

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse clientele Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Culinary experience or knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and basic food preparation techniques Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive attitude Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and accurate bill processing Experience with serving in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes hospitality and guest satisfaction
