Overview:

The

Sergeant

will supervise teams of armed guards and will ensure all contract requirements are adhered to.
Responsibilities:
Administers instructions to security personnel assigned to the site and assures that all officers are familiar with the facility and their duties. Manages the staffing of posts at the site to ensure complete coverage. This includes, but is not limited to, coverage for vacations, illness, and call-offs. Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Armed Security Guard certification through DCJS. A minimum of three years' experience as an armed security guard, or police officer. No less than one year of prior supervisory experience. Active Secret clearance. Must be at least 21 years of age. Possess a current CPR certification through the American Red Cross. Successfully be able to meet PAT physical agility standards as set forth by customer.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment. Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
