Job Description


DUTIES: Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software. Build the customer experience to track and manage order post submission across different channels. Design and develop various initiatives for the customer and employee digital experience across consumer distribution channels. Support lead engineers to lead the software product development life cycle from inception to production launch and post-production support. Design modular and scalable web components. Lead large cross-organizational software development projects. Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Collaborate with designers, developers, user experience teams, and product owners in order to avail interactive and scalable sites and software. Identify and keep abreast of new methodologies and technologies that improve quality, reliability, and performance. Provide functional and technical leadership and mentor software engineers. Write code for automated testing and validation. Enforce company policies in the areas of development methodology, architecture, security, change, and configuration management and compliance. Perform complex engineering activities for performance tuning, monitoring, deployment, and production support. Implement, maintain, and update CICD pipelines. Improve system quality by identifying issues and common patterns and developing standard operating procedures. Enhance applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, make recommendations, and design and implement systems. Maintain and improve existing codebases and perform peer review of code changes. Work with teams to implement technical designs. Apply advanced knowledge of JavaScript, asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6. Build front-end applications using React, AngularJS, Redux, and Node.js. Utilize unit and function testing using Jest, Mocha, and Chai. Work within Agile, Scrum, and Kanban development teams. Utilize build and CICD technologies including GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, and Sonar. Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer review code changes. Utilize browser APIs and optimize front end performance.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software; designing modular and scalable web components; writing code for automated testing and validation; implementing, maintaining, and updating CICD pipelines; maintaining and improving existing codebases and performing peer review of code changes; applying advanced knowledge of JavaScript, asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6; building front-end applications using React, AngularJS, Redux, and Node.js; utilizing unit and function testing using Jest, Mocha, and Chai; working within Agile, Scrum, and Kanban development teams; utilizing build and CICD technologies including GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, and Sonar; and utilizing browser APIs and optimizing front end performance.
