Key Responsibilities



Provide Expert Tax Preparation


Deliver personalized tax return preparation and advice for a wide range of scenarios, including W-2 income, small businesses, investments, life events, and amendments.
Maximize deductions and refunds while ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws.

Deliver Exceptional Client Service


Build trust through empathetic communication, educating clients on their tax situations, and offering guidance for future tax planning.
Interact with clients in-person and virtually using secure, high-quality communication tools.

Act as a Community Ambassador


Represent the organization locally by engaging with the community, hosting events, and serving as the go-to tax resource for your area.
Participate in marketing and outreach initiatives to attract and retain clients.

Educate and Engage


Simplify complex tax concepts for clients through clear, accessible communication.
Provide support and reassurance throughout the tax filing process.

Grow Client Relationships


Build long-term relationships that turn one-time clients into returning customers year after year.

Requirements



Active, unrestricted EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or licensed Attorney credential with strong tax knowledge. Valid Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). Minimum 2 years of paid experience preparing at least 30 individual federal and state tax returns per season using professional tax software. Familiarity with IRS Circular 230 regulations. Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule with a minimum of 24 hours per week. U.S. residency and ability to work on-site at a designated location. Must obtain or hold any required state licenses, permits, or bonds for providing tax services.

Preferred Qualifications



Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills. Experience offering holistic tax advisory beyond filing. Interest in creating accessible, community-facing tax education content (social media, events, etc.). Comfort with building a professional presence both locally and online.
