As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our accounting department. Your expertise will encompass a range of responsibilities, including sales pricing, product costing, inventory valuation, annual audit support, and budgeting. By leveraging your extensive experience and knowledge, you will contribute to the financial success and strategic growth of our company.

This position is an onsite role, requiring presence in the office, and is not eligible for remote work.

Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities):

  • Maintain and update our sales pricing matrix to ensure accurate and competitive pricing for all our valued customers.
  • Collaborate with the inventory team to update and maintain the costing matrix, ensuring consistent and precise costing practices. Engage in discussions with the team to achieve consensus before implementing any changes.
  • Take an active part in the daily operations of the accounting department, including month and year-end processes, cash receipts (as a back-up), FLC payroll reconciliation, revenue, and expenditure variance analysis, annual budgeting, assistance in GL tasks, and the creation of financial models to support reporting activities.
  • Collaborate on inventory reconciliation and adjustments as necessary.
  • Provide support for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions as required
  • Meet financial accounting objectives, upholding the highest standards of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data, working closely with the team to produce comprehensive financial reports and statements.
  • Identify areas for improvement in systems and procedures and collaborate with the team to implement necessary changes, ensuring optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide support in the implementation of new technologies and processes, driving innovation within the accounting function.
  • Assist in the ERP system implementation and work towards enhancing and correcting system functionalities.
  • Support the Controller/Account Manager during the annual audit process, attending meetings, preparing schedules, and providing necessary documentation.
  • Utilize analytical tools to extract actionable insights from company data, contributing to key business performance metrics.
  • Foster strong relationships and act as a trusted business partner across all departments within the company.
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethics and business conduct set forth by our organization.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Experience):
  • Bachelor\'s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems and other accounting/finance systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, allowing for effective collaboration and presentation of financial information.
