Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Integration Engineer to join a team of engineers supporting the Department of Defense. The ideal candidate will manage the software integration environment, provide automation, and troubleshoot complex issues. This role is Hybrid in Tysons Corner, VA.
Secret clearance is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities:
Hands-on integration of software components including firmware, embedded applications, signal processing algorithms, and hardware
Develop and maintain integration plans, procedures, and automation scripts
Collaborate with software development and systems engineering teams to define APIs
Configure and manage software integration environment, including build servers, VCS, and CI/CD pipelines
Support system testing, software builds, release configurations
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in software integration, DevOps, software engineering, preferably in defense, aerospace, or telecom environments
Programming skills in Python, C/C++, Bash
Experience in build automation, CI/CD pipelines and integration
Experience in embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and software-hardware integration
Active Secret or Top Secret clearance eligibility required
Compensation:
$120,000-160,000 annual salary, depending on experience
