Global Science & Technology (GST) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team supporting State IT Support Projects in Fairmont, WV.
Position Summary:
The Senior Software Engineer's responsibilities will involve supporting current and legacy projects including software and website design and development using Microsoft software development technologies and hardware support/administration.
Primary Duties:

• C#, VB.NET programming of Windows and web applications
• Database design, development, and administration (SQL Server, MS Access)
• Website administration, site logs & statistics, indexing service, permissions & ownership
• Software documentation including Requirements, Design, Users Guides, etc.
• Support for Sheriff Tax/Supplemental, Assessor Assistant, Online Filing, Dog Tags including user training and code fixes.
• Windows desktop/server/printer support.
• Quote/order IT equipment.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (or similar)

• C#, ASP.NET, VB6, VB.NET
• HTML, Javascript, CSS
• SQL Server, Access
• Windows System Administration

Salary at GST is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000 to $118,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the GST total compensation package for employees.
