The role is a Senior Software Engineer role, available to any developer with 10-12 years of experience. The Senior Software Engineer will be placed with their Securities division - a 150 person business segment working fully onsite out of the Chicago office.

The Selected Senior Software Engineer will:

• Design, build, and support end-to-end solutions for applications and integration layers in proprietary systems and third party applications.
• Work closely with business partners and advise them on solutions that leverage best practices that address their needs.
• Identify improvements and efficiencies that can be made to the existing platform and action accordingly through their established proposal to development workflows.
• Assist Securities business application support team with escalated issues as they arise.
• Take part in onboarding, training, and professional development seminars that help you reach greater success in the organization and take on more responsibulity as a contributing team member.
• Coordinate with Engineering Manager and other team members for agile sprint planning and code reviews.

The Successful Senior Software Engineer has:

• 10-12 years of experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and MVC.
• BS in Computer Science from an accredited institution.
• SQL Experience required - MS SQL Server and/or T-SQL preferred.
• Cloud experience with Azure or AWS preferred.
• Experience with Microservices and CI/CD pipelines highly preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts and solutions to non-technical individual.
• Self-starter who is organized and can manage time effectively.
• Ability to commute to office in Downtown Chicago Loop 5 days a week.
