About the Opportunity

On behalf of our clients, we're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help design, scale, and secure mission-critical, AI-powered web applications used by law enforcement officers nationwide. You'll play a key role in architecting systems that directly impact public safety and improve operational efficiency across agencies.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable APIs using Django to support mission-critical workflows. Build high-performance React + TypeScript front-end architectures with a focus on scalability, usability, and maintainability. Leverage AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.) to maintain a secure, high-availability environment. Collaborate with leadership and AI teams to develop LLM-based solutions for report generation, video-to-text transcription, and similar use cases. Implement and uphold cybersecurity best practices to protect sensitive law enforcement data. Work cross-functionally with product, design, and advisory teams to deliver reliable, user-friendly tools.

Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (required for security purposes). 6+ years of full-stack development experience, with strong expertise in Django and AWS services. Proven ability to build scalable, performant front-end applications with React, TypeScript, and Global State Management principles. Experience integrating LLM-based solutions (e.g., GPT, Claude). Strong understanding of directory access protocols (AD, LDAP, OD, etc.). Familiarity with agent-based architectures and developing MCP tooling. Solid grasp of microservice architectures and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies.
