Will be responsible for developing and executing sophisticated software tests to identify software problems and their causes for complex projects; developing software to test MathWorks\xe2\x80\x99 Simulink Test product; participating in all aspects of the software development process to support Simulink customers; qualifying product features and building efficient and effective tools for automated testing; creating and testing strategy and test procedures; architecting test tools and adding automated tests; designing and implementing exploratory testing techniques (sweep testing, randomized testing, etc.); working as an advocate for improved customer experience and championing product quality; participating fully in the feature design and development process for the Simulink Test product; and solving complex problems for our customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and two (2) years of experience as a Senior Quality Engineer (or closely related occupation) using MATLAB or Simulink for automotive or autonomous vehicle testing.

OR

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Quality Engineer (or closely related occupation) using MATLAB or Simulink for automotive or autonomous vehicle testing.

Special Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise analyzing requirements and writing test plans for software and hardware systems to verify functionality and integration of the system.
• Demonstrated expertise performing Model-Based testing, Hardware-In-the Loop testing and Software-in the Loop testing to validate mechatronic systems.
• Demonstrated expertise performing unit and integration testing using MATLAB Unit testing frameworks.
