The Senior Project Manager, Technology will have strong collaboration and negotiation skills to effectively align multiple stakeholders and enable the realization of business case benefits. Overall management, tracking and reporting of GXO\'s most important Oracle ERP finance-driven projects deliverables in support of new business capabilities, ensuring on time and on budget delivery, adherence to compliance and quality standards, and alignment to the strategic objectives of the business case.

What you\'ll do on a typical day:

• Adheres to project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budgeted hours, adheres to high quality standards, and meets ISSM expectations
• Fast paced, dynamic 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer and where one must be flexible to changing priorities
• Establish and maintain in depth knowledge and understanding of client\'s business and industry specific to Supply Chain, Logistics, and Transportation objectives and initiatives
• Serve as escalation point to resolve project issues, remove roadblocks, formulate contingency plans, and communicate status to projects executive leadership team and customers
• Ensure accurate and timely financial management including actual spend and forecasts for labor, non-labor, and strategic partner support; explain cost variances and implement corrective action; track cost risks and cost opportunities
• Support internal and external audit needs including project artifact repository, deliverable acceptance criteria and evidence, and test results
• Assembles and leads project teams, identifies the appropriate resources needed for project execution, and develops schedules to ensure timely completion of projects, while controlling for project cost, quality, schedule, and scope
• Possess specialized knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks used to manage risks and issues unique to technology projects

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you\'ll need:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or other related technical field, or equivalent related work or military experience
• 2 years of project management experience is required
• Proven experience managing ERP projects using waterfall and agile methodologies

It\'d be great if you also have:

• 10+ years of project management experience is required
• 5+ years IT experience in leadership capacity, including 2 years of experience leading multiple concurrent Tier 1 ERP projects with multiple integrated work streams for the entire SDLC process
• Active PMP Certification (issued by Project Management Institute)
• Subject matter expertise in Business Process, Project and Portfolio Management, exceptional project management skills, attention to detail, and a proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
• Ability to understands inter-dependencies between IT and business initiatives to effectively leverage resources
• SWOT analysis and problem-solving competences
• Proven experience implementing IT solutions and communicating with high profile customers
• Expert understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics business functional and operating needs in highly complex environments
• Excellent IT finance, customer budget and proposal management
• Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
• Excellent situation management and leadership in critical situation
• Bachelor\'s degree in IT Management or Supply Chain Management, or comparable experience in the logistics industry
