Senior Project Manager - Industrial Hygiene / Environmental Consulting Services
Intertek-ATI, is searching for a Senior Project Manager for our Industrial Hygiene Environmental service line to join our Building & Construction team in our Intertek-ATI Hillside, Illinois office. What are we looking for?
The Senior Project Manager will support our Industrial Hygiene Environmental Consulting Service line in our Hillside, Illinois operation. We are currently seeking individuals who have experience in the Industrial Hygiene Environmental field and can obtain their IDPH Asbestos licenses. All fees for training and licensing are paid for by Intertek-PSI. Special consideration will be given to any applicants who already have extensive experience and the ability to support / provide Business Development, Sales and Marketing in support of our Hillside, Illinois operation.
Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM (may vary)
What you'll do:
Assist our on-site team in providing state-of-the-art industrial hygiene and environmental services in support of new and on-going projects
Conduct bids for various school districts for abatement projects, including writing bid work plans, inviting contractors and attending bid openings
Work as a team to schedule field staff and their activities
Complete proposals and final reports on a myriad of projects

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 10+ years of environmental industry related experience
• Experience understanding asbestos projects, from initial sampling to project closeout.
• Willingness to learn and become fluent in regulatory requirements - EPA and OSHA
• Must be able to adhere to company and client safety policies and procedures
• Must be able to perform tasks in varying field/office conditions.
• Must be computer literate and able to operate most field/office equipment relating to one's discipline.
• Strong technical proposal and report writing abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record
• Ability to travel 25-50% of the time
