Position:
Senior Process/ Logistics Engineer
:

The Senior Industrial/Logistics Engineer is responsible for labor management programs and continuous process improvement efforts designed to improve productivity and lower operating costs for Arrow\'s Distribution Centers within the America\'s. This role will provide expertise and leadership in project management to maximize our total performance and operating capability of each functional group in the Distribution Centers. This person is responsible for insuring management is knowledgeable and is following best methods. They will support the Distribution Centers in project management related to best practices, technology applications, material handling systems, facility planning, labor management systems and procedures to ensure that business and project objectives are achieved.

This position will be in office 5 days a week, Monday - Friday, in our Reno, NV Distribution Center. Based on business needs, longer hours or weekends may be required.

What You\'ll Be Doing:

• Responsible for the data analysis, design, and implementation of capital projects, cost savings/improvement solutions for the distribution center in the areas of personnel, programs, and equipment utilization.
• Develop processes, procedures and testing for business units and customers, generally for distribution and production centers. Create, maintain, and provide documentation.
• Provide support for warehouse operations, provide technical training support - develop, update, and maintain instructional documents and process instructions to assist in operations within the facility.
• Manage project implementation of improvement solutions or new process/software introductions; identify areas to improve equipment, process, or personnel utilization. Monitor implemented solutions and present findings to appropriate management groups as needed. Update work instructions.
• Resolve processing issues, address process, design, construct, and debug operations and determine efficiency; respond to floor issues as circumstances dictate or calculate labor to operations.
• Provide support to new equipment recommendations and processes development.
• Provides design support for MHE (Material Handling Equipment).

What We Are Looking For:

• 4-year industrial/mechanical/supply chain engineering degree
• 7+ years of industrial/process engineering experience
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Labor Management Systems (LMS)
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE), conveyance, and vendor relations
• Proficiency in Slotting software, AutoCAD, VBA/SQL, Visio, MS Project, Power BI and Minitab.
• Experience in developing engineered labor management and/or engineering time standards.
• Analytical capabilities utilizing statistical analysis to identify process optimization opportunities.
• Ability to manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload based on business needs
• Safety first mindset

The Skills That Will Help You Succeed Even More:

• An industrial engineering degree or master\'s degree
• Experience working in a distribution center
• Experience with JMP and/or Keyence Vision systems
• Experience with SolidWorks

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$94,800.00 - $150,700.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
