Description





The Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing complex payroll processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and serving as a subject matter expert within the Finance team. This role supports domestic and international payroll operations and collaborates with HR and Finance globally to maintain accurate and timely compensation.###

Key Responsibilities



Process payroll for multiple states and countries under strict deadlines Reconcile payroll register, source document, and funding total each pay period Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Review and verify payroll data entries, deductions, and adjustments Handle complex payroll scenarios including retroactive pay, garnishments, commissions and benefits Generate and analyze payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders Support audits and regulatory filings Act as a point of contact for escalated payroll inquiries

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise



Qualifications

5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in multi-state or large-scale environments Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paychex). Experience with NetSuite/Ceridian a plus Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is highly desirable
