Job Overview:

Senior Motion Designer

Location: Frisco,TX or Burlington, MA

In addition to mastering the skills of a Motion Graphic Editor with a strong portfolio of work, you will be involved in the creative, financial, technological, supervisory, and administrative processes of a production from inception to completion. Sr. Motion Designers communicate daily with the Production, client services, and creative teams, help to manage timelines and deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with internal and external teams to manage Video and Motion Graphic projects effectively
• Responsible for the initial introduction and presentation of Video and Motion
• Graphics services to internal and external teams.
• Managing internal relationships on production-related issues, as well as managing brand needs and expectations.
• Managing staff, including assigning individual responsibilities and setting deadlines and deliverables.
• Managing production schedules and logistics along with pm and project team
• Serves as a mentor to new and/or current employee(s); assists with employee on-boarding/training.

Requirements:

Requirements:

• A degree/diploma in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
• 8+ years experience as Motion Graphics Designer as well as a strong portfolio of sample projects
• Demonstrate excellent communication, team building, leadership and operational management skills.
• Facilitates technical workgroup meetings.
• Lead/mentored small production teams on small/medium sized projects and has owned subsystems within a medium-to-large projects.
