Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pensacola. This role is crucial for ensuring safe, reliable, and optimized operations within our manufacturing unit. Your expertise will be instrumental in achieving operational excellence and driving technological advancements.
Key Objectives:

  • Optimize unit performance to achieve operational entitlement in terms of yields, usage, reliability, and quality.
  • Meet annual productivity targets through effective performance tracking and management.
  • Develop and implement dynamic models to understand and enhance unit performance under varying conditions.
  • Lead the execution of technology projects to operationalize new advancements.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze unit performance through key process indicators and parameters.
  • Support site safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance through active participation in safety activities.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize processes to bridge performance gaps and enhance efficiency.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and implement solutions for technical issues.
  • Provide technical training to operators and support production planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate and evaluate innovative process improvement ideas.
  • Manage environmental compliance related to Powerhouse operations.
  • Act as Designated Operating Authority when required.
Qualifications:
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical.
  • Over 10 years of experience in the chemical industry.
  • Proven background in process optimization and troubleshooting in a plant environment.
Desired Certification:
  • Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) certification is preferred.
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in systems such as ASPEN products, heat transfer, and hydraulics.
  • In-depth knowledge of Process Safety Management.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Capability to provide off-hours plant support and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
