The Senior Manager, Community Relations is an organized, detail driven individual with an interest in local community engagement, eager to join a highly respected team of experienced professionals serving one of the largest companies in the world.
Walmart's Community Relations team is responsible for driving local engagement with stores, customers and community leaders with the goal of elevating our brand reputation and increasing meaningful connections that will continue to provide added value to the business.
The Senior Manager will see up close how the CR team conducts in-store activations that empower stores and clubs to increase and enhance community relationships through training; toolkits; newsletters; and event support. Additionally, the Senior Manager will have the opportunity to conduct regular training of Community Champions in urban, suburban and rural markets that empowers store associates to engage locally through a structured decision-making framework with resources and inspiration; cultivate relationships with local government officials and community leaders; identify local store opportunities for volunteerism and random acts of kindness; support social media training and outreach; and foster self-sufficiency on our overall approach to community engagement.
