As we continue to expand, we're looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Officer who is passionate about helping home owners succeed. Responsibilities: o Maintain and build relationships through networking and prospecting with bankers, realtors, builders, and your community to attract new business o Ensure all phases of the loan process are performed in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines o Exceed our production standards by maintaining an active pipeline o Interact with customers, realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction o Communicate a thorough understanding of different loan programs and closing costs to help prospective buyers make a decision Qualifications: o Previous experience with Office Suite and loan originating software such as Experian, Calyx, or LendingWise preferred o Must have an active NMLS Mortgage Originator License o Understand a variety of loans such as: FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, fixed/ adjustable, bridge, non-conforming, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit o Banking, business, real estate, or related Bachelor's degree required o Strong understanding of company loan policies and guidelines, as well as all federal and state regulations o Must be licensed and reside in either California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Idaho, Texas, Florida, or Michigan About Company: Our customer-first business model at Oceans Mortgage & Realty has fueled significant growth over the past few years.
