Position Specific Description
Florida Power & Light Co is looking for senior strategic IT project delivery professional for IT Nuclear Solutions. This role with have a focus on work management, planning, and scheduling functions. This role will manage end-to-end IT project delivery for nuclear work management systems and planning/scheduling applications, driving implementation and optimization of work management platforms while ensuring alignment with nuclear operational requirements and regulatory compliance. Coordinate system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements to planning and scheduling tools, manage vendor relationships and budgets for nuclear IT initiatives, and ensure all projects meet nuclear industry standards, quality requirements, and regulatory obligations.
Job Overview
This position plans, executes, and finalizes projects according to schedule and within budget. Employees in this role acquire resources and coordinate the efforts of team members including third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Individuals define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle.
Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Plans and directs the installation of Information Technology projects which typically involve and impact multiple business areas

• Provides formalized, continuing work direction and leadership to assigned team(s) to ensure timely and effective project execution

• Participates in employee development, coaching, and ongoing performance management

• Applies knowledge and experience in own discipline while continuing to acquire and develop higher-level knowledge and skills

• Builds knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers

• Solves a range of straightforward problems

• Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedure

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED

• Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience

• Experience: 4+ years

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
